Teen Power: Young Adults Moving Mountains 

Despite all of the obstacles in their way, hundreds of teens are beating the system to achieve amazing success in the adult world. This is a clear example of the fact that teens are driven, innovative, and creative. Imagine if we lifted the restrictions that make so many motivated teens give up: if we encouraged teens to go after their goals early on instead of denying them the ability to work, sign contracts, or manage their affairs simply because of their age? Adora Svitak:  Adora is a speaker, author, and teacher. She appeared on Good Morning America at age 7, published her first book at age 7, began teaching through distance learning at age 10, spoke at the prestigious TED conference at age 12,  and organized her own event (TEDxRedmond) at age 12. Philip Hartman:  At the age of 15, Philips won the 2008 Young Inventor of the Year award for a system for fusing optical fibers. He has continued inventing and his newest invention, the Steam Viper, is a wiper blade capable of defrosting a  windshield in about 15 seconds.
